My driver's side reverse light (circular in the bumper) is collecting a lot of condensation. Curious if this ever happened to anyone and what can I do to fix it? I have a '00 Gt.

Very common!!! The water enters the lens around the bulb seal ... if your car is still under warranty then it will be covered and if you don't have any warranty left, you can remove the lens yourself really easily and buy a new one cheaply :)

I don't suppose cheap means like $5? Any suggestions as to where I can pick one up?

Well, probably a little more than $5 but not much more ... maybe like $20 but I am relying on my memory for this but I remember someone mentioning they cost about $20-$25 CDN :)

Wait, I did find a place I can order one. Is it oval though? Anyway, here is a link that anyone might want to look at for OEM replacement parts for their GA's. It's not bad!

HAHAHA ... not lately bud as our dollar is coming up ... soon, our dollar will be worth more than yours!! (yeah, right) ... anyway, I am not sure if a 'Auto Parts Store' would have thhis or not but I would guess, no ... call a local GM Parts Department and see what they say ... I would suspect you will be very surprised :)

So did I tell you how much the dealer was going to charge me for that light? $35 I said, thanks, see ya! I bought it online for $14 + shipping. I tell ya, they know how to give it to you!

Oh yeah, this is where I got it from, they had cheaper shipping than AutoBodyPartsOnline.com

...or you can take the bulb out, dry off the inside of the lens and then put vaseline around the bulb gasket to keep it sealed.

Works for pool water pump seals :D

Problem is once the lense has water in it for any length of time, the reflective surface begins to look like shit, no matter how much you try to rinse/clean it. But I agree, using some vaseline to seal the new housing is a very good idea!
