Pass lock 1

I just installed remote start on my 97 grand am and I had to use a bypass module for the pass lock. Everything works fine, the car can be remote started and it stays on, but my "teft sys" light is always on. Even if I start the car with the key. Why is it always on?

The bypass maynot have been installed or programmed correctly. Check over it again. What are you using?
