Alpine hu, syncs with my ipod, ready for bluetooth, xm/sirius, hd.
4x6 Infinity front speakers
6x9 Rockford Fosgate rears
No sub or amping, I've already spent way more than I ever planned on and i don't want like thump thump musick anyway.
Is it bad to leave my ipod in my car in single digit weather overnight, or should i keep taking it inside w/ me?

Who cares if he went to best buy??? Alpine, Infinity, and Rockford are all respectable brands.

You should honestly think of getting a 4 channel amp to push those speakers... You're not going to thump loudly and believe it or not, you WILL get more life out of the speakers as long as you don't abuse them.

Best buy over charges people for mediocre products, and hire people with little to no knowledge of car audio...Im not knocking him for his choice of equipment..nor the place he bought it...I just feel like if your buying something for your car its an investment...I bet money the guy at best buy(if that was the place) didnt tell him anything about why round speaks would have been a much better choice..or a set of components would have done amazing things to his front sound stage...I guess I just have issues with large chain stores that try an overprice stuff...

yes, i did go to best buy. i went with the sizes i did cuz they would fit without modifying my doors, i don't have the patience to trim things just right, etc. the 4x6s aren't actually 4x6, it's a round speaker and then a tweeter built into the same housing. i listened to a few rounds and didn't like them compared to what i got up front. The rockford rears were by far the best i compared, at least within what i was willing to pay.

i was going to go to a local place called Ransom's, where i could have got a major discount through my work, but they recently went from selling Alpine's to Sony's and Audiovox. Couldn't even order infinity speakers. without traveling 60 miles, there's really no where else to go.
