Hey guys... I read something on here that explained how to replace the serp. belt and I have the haynes manual but I still cant figure it out. It says support the engine at the oil pan with a hydraulic jack and a block of wood, then take off the upper motor mount on the pass. side. When I do this the engine drops significantly so I stop and tighten up the bolts. My question is: Does anyone have any tips to share that might help out and also how far is the engine supposed to lower on that side if at all when I take out the bolts to the motor mount? I replaced plugs, wires, filters, oil, coolant, trans fluid, trans filter, ect. I still need to replace the belt and the fuel filter. Thanks guys, Rob.

As long as you are holding up the engine like the manual said, the engine is not actually dropping. It is the suspension that is raising the car.
