just came in the mail today...I got 1/2 inch spacers for the rear wheels and 1/4 inch for the front "Already installed fronts"...my goal is to have the wheels right in line with the fenders "Front looks pretty close with them installed!
pic of the rear spacers and a pic of the rear without spacers:

Fronts already installed:

what do you guys think...the 1/4's up front make the wheels perfectly in line with the fender...you think the 1/2's in the rear will be too much or just right?

Looks good Troy. Does VW still use the wheel bolts on those cars instead of studs and lugnuts? Do you plan on purchasing longer ones if so? Might be a good idea.
Looks good , but won't the tire rub on the fender lip if it were to bottom out :???:

putting springs on and your struts going isn't anything new. but i don't doubt that it would do the same with other cars
tires looks good :)

Troy where did you get the spacrs and how much? I was thinking of using 1/4 ones for the Altima until I get aftermarket wheels.

with the new springs, your stock struts most likely will not be valved properly to accomodate for the higher spring rate of the aftermarket springs.
The reason I say this, is because 99% of all aftermarket springs have much higher spring rates than stock parts - meaning that the stock struts are too 'loose' or will not dampen enough to accomodate the spring's stiffness. Meaning that you may find yourself hitting the bumpstops over big bumps on around aggressive corners.
If you want the springs just for looks, meh it shouldnt matter much as long as you are careful, but if you want any performance, find a strut/shock/spring combo that will have better matched numbers, better dampening, and more suspension travel (or less if you prefer it), etcetc.
Id rattle off some numbers for you, but I am not very keen on VW/Audi suspension tuning, its different for every car.
Good luck Troy, and the spacers REALLY even out the stance of the car, I love it :D
