My rear speakers are blown, and i was thinking about replacing everything. but now i'm gonna go cheaper and replace the blown ones with stock speakers. I don't want the speakers to blow them again so I was gonna add a sub in the trunk.

I was wondering how easy it is to add a sub to the monsoon system, and what I'm looking at to get the sub the power that it will need.

Also, what are 2 rear monsoon speakers gonna run me(from the stealership)?

the stock speakers are cheap from gmpartsdirect.com, i believe like 20bux each, which is MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than buying an aftermarket set. they wont blow, just take out the tweeter in hte middle and wire in an aftermarket tweeter and mount them like on the back seat, itll sound awesome and the stock ones wont blow. cant help u with the sub thing though cuase i never put one in with the monsoon.

You'll need the sub, sub box, amp, and an amp wiring kit (http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/MD-Sound-4-Gauge-Amplifier-Kit/1973814/product.html) (obviously), then you'll need an LOC (line out converter (http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/item/LOC-1/937/2-CHANNEL_LINE-OUT_CONVERTER_.html)) to run the signal to your amp, since your factory HU doesn't have preamp outputs. The LOC is really the only extra bit of kit you need to get things working.

the loc must be wired into the rear speakers before the monsoon amp
