Do the Next Level strut tower braces really improve steering response and reduce body roll by that much?

I have 18s, so I do expect steering response to improve slightly in cornering, but is it really that much of a difference without stiffer shocks and springs?

I was also wondering if I would need longer bolts if I do plan on installing them? It doesn't look like there's any more length on the strut tower bolts to fit the STB on there.

I can't afford my AED tails until next month, so might as well get something I can afford.....

I really like my STB's. Too bad they cost so damn much, but what are you gonna do when our market is so small.

The only real mod I have on my car at the moment is the Next Level STBs. I felt the difference immediately after I installed them; the steering feel is much more immediate and stability has improved greatly, especially where mid-corner bumps are concerned. They seemed to reduce body roll somewhat, but it isn't anywhere as dramatic as the stability change. They even reduced the side-to-side rock when going through gutters to get into driveways. The bars are worth every bit of the $210 I paid with shipping for both the front and rear units. I'd give them five stars.

Edit:

Also, I had plenty of length on the strut tower bolts to install the STBs, at least on my 2000 model.

I got them about a two months ago. I posted new pics in the Members Rides section, but forgot to drop you a PM.

I'm budgeting at this point to get a few more mods by the end of summer, so we'll definintely have to get together and do some mods.

I want to paint my brake calipers sometime too.

What exactly do you mean by "making a few sets"?

Well, after looking at mine and taking into account the amount of tools and equipment I have access to, I don't believe it would be too hard to make a few of these; however, the 'thought' is about as far as I have gone with it :)

Well, I ordered my set of STBs off PFYC.com today! Anyone know how long they usually take to get here?

Anyone also hear bad things about tightening the rear brace too tight?

I hope the SC/T hood doesn't cause clearance issues.

I can't wait to get these installed!
