Nice work! And while I always appreciate custom work like that, with the proper direct-fit 2-gauge a-pillar pod readily available from Lotek, I have to ask: Why?

well cause this cost me about 20 bucks not much of a savings and not really the reason...but the main reason is now i have the satisfaction of being able to say i made that...

well...for that, i commend you. i still have to agree with shawn and ask why? theres other stuff you can spend your time on, like the millions of other things that arent made for the car. you found one of the few things actually is made, and remade it yourself.
any installed pics to see how the angle is? maybe if you made it yourself you made them block your view less...that would be a great way to make me look like an idiot (theres many ways of doing that actually ).

I don't see why it matters why he chose that, maybe he's just started out in actually fabricating things for his car, I'd rather start with something small like that than trying out something custom on something I need and it not turn out..

good work! Props for actually making something/fabbing something together. Nothing wrong with buying bolt ons but being able to do stuff like this and be proud of it totally out weighs buying something pre-made
