alright look in the pic, you cant tell that much in the pic but its very noticable....anyways my rim is pushed back further than the others...therefore my car cant be alligned properly, anyways a frame shop quoted me $150 just to push this wheel back to where its supposed to be.....worth it for 150? or too much?

Ummm...yeah, I'd say it's worth it. And it might have something to do with your transmission problems. How did you do that?

i doubt it had to do w/ my tranny problems...cause the wheel was always like that and i just started having this tranny problem like 2 months ago

Whether it helps the tranny problem or not, It is still worth the $150 to get it fixed. If you don't you will wear out the tire on that wheel. And, from the looks of your picture, the tire looks like it could be expensive.

It doesn't necessarily take an accident. I've seen em come (the shop) in like that from giant potholes.

I agree that it doesnt have to be an accident to do that and I also agree that I would pay that much to have it fixed

Yes, $150 is not bad at all. Alot of shops charge around 300 bucks or more per pull. Menaing if it took 3 pulls (In 3 diff. directions) to straighten a frame they'd charge $900 (3 pulls @ $300 = $900) So $150 is a bargain!

well this is the same shop that quoted me $150 to install a tranny on my car....sounds too good to be true.....i dont understand why its so expensive to fix the frame...pull here pull there...and thats it....what the hell....???

Ummm...because the equipment to do it is not cheap, and you have to be very careful and experienced to not stress other parts of the frame.

You know that there is a problem with the axle. Get that fixed, then if you still have problems with the tranny, get the tranny fixed.

Why did you take the guys word that the car hadn't been wrecked if the wheel was like that when you bought it? And, btw, that's not something you just drive until it breaks. Whatever caused it to be like that could've just as easily caused it to fall off.

I don't get it...what exactly is wrong with the tire in the picture?

its pushed back to the left...you cant tell that much in that pic....i didnt notice the wheel was like that until i put my rims on....plus the guy that sold me the car was a really good friend of my step dads...didnt think he would do such a thing to me....

Why I am asking is because my car looks like that after my wreck...there isn't much room between the bumper and the wheel as there is on the other side. Not sure if it has anything to do with the frame tho.

well i was told by different places that its the frame...u should go have it checked out cause ur car cant be properly alligned if its like that...meaning tire will wear out faster

Wouldn't my steering wheel pull or shake if the frame was bent? When my husband hit the deer it went right over the car. He didn't end up running it over and he didn't even stop, just kept on driving lol.

The force of the deer hitting the front would be more than enough to shift the inner structure back, thus shifting the strut tower also. You wouldn't necessarily have to run over it to shift your front suspension.

So what do I do? I already got the money from the insurance company and this was not included in the estimate.
