I have a tranny problem on my 4t-60 E. Sometimes my gear select light on my shift console does not illuminate on startup, and sometimes goes off while driving. When this occurs, my transmission seems unable to engage top gear and Over-Drive. Sometimes when Im cruising down the highway at 65 mph at 2000 rpm my tranny suddenly selects 3rd and my rpms go up. This problem occurs seemingly at random. Either cold or hot. It fixes itself after i move the gear lever around at idle sometimes. I tried servicing my tranny but it didn't help. Im guessing its some kind of loose ground in my wiring. Can anyone help. i heard you guys are the best and have seen it all.. Any help would be much appreciated. This problem seems to boggle all the "GM mastermind" friends of mine. I care for my car deeply and would love more than anything to find a solution.
