I am in the market for finally getting a CAI on my '01 GAGT. I'm not sure what intake to go with. CustomGrandAm or MPRacings.
CustomGrandAm:
Pro's
1. Less Cost
2. Ordering other items, can go all in one order.
3. Can pay with Money Order (don't have credit card)
4. Comes with K&N
5. Free Shipping
Con's
1. Doesn't have the premium silicone couplers
2. Doesn't have the inverted hose clamps
MPRacing:
Pro's
1. Has the inverted hose clamps(looks better)
2. Premium silicone Couplers
Con's
1. More Expensive
2. Can't pay with money Order(Paypal only)
3. Not sure of the "Powerstack" filter
anyone with any insight, it is greatly appreciated.

I think that I'm gonna go with the CustomGrandAm intake, because its cheaper to purchase, and I don't have a paypal account. As long as it does what it is intended to do, then thats what matters. The couplers, and clamps arn't that big of a deal, I could change the clamps and couplers if i wanted to.
Thanks guys
p.s. If there is a defference in the tubing itself please let me know. other wise CustomGA is getting my money.

ok dude, i want you to talk to customgrandam first and find everything you can out about this, because i got a front bumper and they got them from a place out in CA and had no clue about them and it came with deep gouges and 0 holes. so i am out $300 right now because of that... i would def say go with mp racing as that is what i have and i love it. plus im sure if you talk to mark he will let you send a M.O. (but go make and verify a paypal account right now - you dont need a CC, just put in your bank routing number and in like 2 - 3 days they will deposit 2 small amounts, like .20 and.10 and then you tell them how much they deposited it and then you are verified and can begin making online payments) not hard at all
good luck

Fired an E-mail off to Mark at MP Racing, he said a money order was fine. so I collected my funds, got the Money Order and sent it in the mail today!! i went with the blue couplers for my silver gt1. It's gonna take a couple extra weeks until I get it cause the money order needs to clear. I can't wait.
Thanks for all the advice guys.
