ok so i'm driving my 2000 ga gt and all of the sudden its idleing rough and stays rough until i hit about 25 mph. after 25mph it seems like it runs fine. now when i did a tune up about 1 year prior to this happening i only did the plugs and wires(stock nothing fancy), but i didn't change the coil packs and i had about 130k miles when i did the tune up. now i have about 140k miles and this happens, so i went to autozone to take advantage of their free computer diagnostics check, and it came up as cylinder #1 missfire. so i changed the coil packs, all three. still rough, so i though maybe it messed up the plug and/or wire, don't know if that possible but it sounds believeable to me. so i changed the plug and it ran smooth for about 10 seconds, then, puff, white smoke everywhere out of my exhaust and i mean constant smoke and then my coolant light came on so i'm thinkin blown head gasket. does this make sense, i haven't taken it to a mechanic because i have air ride and i don't want to start my car to run the compressor and i have a gel battery and someone told me u can't recharge those the same as a regular battery. so i guess i have a some questions to ask everyone:
#1 am i making sense about this being a blown head gasket?
#2 roughly how much do u think it would be to get this done?
#3 if it is a blown head gasket, would it be stupid to get my heads P&P'd as well as my IM?
i was just reading a different thread about plugs on here and would like to add i switched to the bosch +2 plugs when i switched the plugs out. i wonder if that had anything to do with this???
