Hello. New guy here, already did an Intro. in the Intro. forum. :)
Anyway.. I have 150,000km on my Grand Am and feel it is time to do the plugs and wires on her. I am still averaging around 28 mpg but do a lot of highway driving.
I went to our local Canadian Tire today and was looking to pick up some Bosch Platinum's to put in. They didn't have the ones I required so I picked up a set of NGK TR55GP's. I have read good things here about other NGK's in these cars but nothing on the "G-Power" plugs. Has anyone some info. on these before I put them in?
Also, the only plug wires they had were Niehoff's, made by Champion, for $56.00. I have used them before in other cars such as my Son's Jetta, but was reluctant to get them to use with these plugs. What is the consensus on this brand?
Thanks

Paul

Not sure about the G-Power version but I have NGK Irridiums in my car and they're great ... the platinums (not the +4) would be good too ... as far as the wires go, I have used them before too on other vehicles and they worked well but not on my Grand Am (I have a set of Taylors) ... I suspect they'll be find but they might not 'fit' 100% so you'll have to be the judge whether or not the look right (if that sort of thing matters to you) ... good luck and welcome to the site :)
