I have two neons under my dash, when i flip the switch they take a while to turn on, why is this and how can i fix it. Thanks!

They are cold.

Turn the switch on after the interior warms up or wait until Spring.

jeeze, thank you! made me think about my underglow which makes me wish it was spring so i could put it back on :( not too much longer ;)

and sorry for thread jackin but just a QQ: i am going to get a set of CC's from oznium.com, and was wondering if i should go with red for the interior or get white and put them behind my grill. jw, but thx!!! srry again

I was looking at CC's too. Their a hell of a lot cheaper than neons from autozone. But I've read that the red ones arn't a true red. Is this true?

Ok, I'll get them sometime too. Their a lot cheaper than neons thats for sure. One other question. With the transformer do you need one transformer for each CC? or can you plug as many as say four up at a time?

1 Transformer= 2 CC's.......4 CC's=2 Transformers

I get my cold cathodes from ebay. Search using "CCFL" and or "Cold Cathode".

Generally, you can plug two lamps into one inverter if the lamps are close to each other. You can not lengthen the wires. I tried and the lights were a lot dimmer.

hmm..w.ell is there enough wire to have the transformer under the H/U mount and have the CC branch off under each seat?

The lamps have about ten inches of wire. You can have them twenty inches apart. Should be enough.

You could buy two single lamps, then you would have two inverters. Or you could put two tubes on each side. You can get two kits on ebay for under $16 shipped.

I bought a bunch of kits and made under bodies out of them.

i would but from oznium, ive bought from them a few time and have never had a problem with anything happening to the and they are always here on time if not early. The red ones are true red as i have them inside the ram air ducts of my car and they are plenty bright.
