instead of having the gauges that show boost and air/fuel ratios and that, can you buy gauges that do alternator readings, oil pressure, or battery readings? most cars have these gauges as factory but grand ams dont. they just have the speedomter, rpm, gas, and engine temp gauges. i wanna do a 3 gauge pod but i dont really know what gauges to put in there. not gonna be racing it at the track and i dont have a turbo or supercharger. would like one to show the electrical readings and oil pressure, possibly fuel/air raito

Check out the Scan Gauge II. It doesn't read oil pressure but it covers everything else. It even keeps track of your MPG's and how much fuel is used. $160 shipped on ebay. One wire that plugs into the OBD II port and it's installed.

Both your GA and Truck have Forced Induction?

For your application, and assuming no boost in the future, I would recommend:
Voltage
Oil Pressure
Trans temp

A/F gauges are pretty useless... just a light show unless you invest in a wideband sensor, controller, etc.
