Clear tail lights

Hi!
If I install clear TYC tail lights on my 2003 GA,will I need to put silicone all around the casing to prevent water going in? I notice that the original ones as no sort of protections, may be it does'nt mater if water goes in the end of bumper, if you no what I mean.

If you are talking about between the light and the fender, the answer is no.

If you mean the area between the lens and the housing of the tail light unit, then maybe. My aftermarket lights have vents with rubber elbows on them so they are open to atmosphere anyways. If there is evidence of water leaking in around the edges, I would seal them up before installing.
