So i got the whole subfram, just bolt it up and some hack work here and their. But they dropped my motor when they were putting it on the truck. Crack the tranny bell house, damage the S/c, and p/s tank. The motor was about 10' in the air. But i did get the whole subfram for a cheaper price. :D So i'm just gonna turn it in to a N/a car.

So what am i to do............ make it work.
Step 1
Remove the wires and stuff.

Step 2
Rebuilt the belt system to 3800 I Specs. At that point the keystones started to make it harder for me to work.

Everything on this motor is like 10 pounds or more
This bracket is like 8oz

Chain Notes
1. Will gets a damage S/c 3800 and toys for cheap.
2. He is gonna run it N/a
3. Will is very cheap and the car and motor are 26 miles away.

Would have been fun with the S/C. Without? Not so sure I'd do all that work to get a 147K NA engine in that.

It looks like the motor was either cleaned real good or it was a relatively fresh rebuild. I say this do to the red "permatex" on the valve cover gasket

It's still not a total lost. I did go from 165hp & 220tq to 170hp & 225tq :). So far i only had to spend about $50, because I'm swaping over all the mounting brackets from my old 3800 I

An engine swap to gain 5 HP? That's just a lot of work for a tiny gain, unless you're really just looking to do this for the fun of it. Actually, if that SC 3800 is like the newer series, than actually it would make less power than the NA version due to lower compression. I would try to find another M62 if you're going to use that pulled engine.

Basically it for the fun of it. Even if i find a blower, i still would have to change out the tranny and sub frame, and weld a motor mount to the side of the car. Easy work, but to much work. The guys on bonnevilleclub.com did not say anything about compression. The main point is to have a second reliable car.

 Well... low compression engine build for boost, run without boost = very slow. It will run though, since that's what it appears you need.

Not sure if that applies to the Series 1 L67, but the Series II L67 (SC) is 8.5:1 while the Series II L36 (NA) is 9.4:1
