Glass stains?

Hi, yeah... on my Grand Am, all over the car there are these spots on the glass that just dont come off. They really show up when the sun hits them... i cant even see outta the window then. Ive tryed everything to get them off. A rubbing compound, vinegar, scrubbing, elbow grease, everything. Anyone got any more tips that i could try and remove them? Thanks!

Strong ammonia cleaners...but only if you dont have tint. Also might try some goo-gone style citrus cleaners.

some of the local dealerships use very fine steel wool...

sometimes cant get it off.... damn acid rain.... but yea try the steel wool

I mostly have it on my sunroof, you can really see if you look outside from in the car. I always thought it was water spots.

0000 STEEL WOOL and stoners invisible glass should do the trick

That's my car's problem. Acid rain got to the paint and the windows. :(
