Has anyone bought/used this manual?

I was just going to get the Hayne's manual but came across this one. It seems like it might be a little more detailed.

Based on price, I can guarantee you'll be getting a pirated version on a DVD-R. For that reason, it's hard to say the quality of info you'll get, but in general the online/softcopy FSM's put Haynes/Chiltons to shame.

Edit: Yea it's pirated... check his feedback. I'd avoid.

You should be able to get the version directly off of Helm for around 120 dollars for the print manual. Or you can get the same thing on ebay if you look enough (For much cheaper).

id go for the shop service manuals if i were you. i got them for the grand am and my beretta. there on ebay all the time. got mine for like 50 shipped

The ebay auction seems a like a high price for what you are getting.

Most of (8 out of 9) the negitive comments are from the same person. The other two are from someone with a Vista operating system and someone who didn't read the description.

If the price was in the $5 - $10 range and I need a manual, I would buy it. $29 for a CD is too much.

AllData, dude.

You can sign up for AllData online for something like $25/year for 1 vehicle. AllData is a *direct copy*, word for word, image for image, of the GM repair manuals.

I got my factory service manuals (3 volumes for the '98) and hardly use them. They live in the back seat and I only pull them out when I don't feel like printing from AllData.

i got the all data too. got some crazy subscription renewal a few years back that renewed it till 2010 for like 25 bucks.
