i just wanted to know if the round 7-pin i believe electrical plug on my 4t60e tranny could be left unplugged without any problems, cause i have to warm it for like 30 minutes up in the mornings in order for the tranny to engage,if i dont warm it up the tranny will not engage in any gear, without the connector plugged in i dont have to warm it up?..thanks

The 4T60E is electronically controlled, including shift solenoids, therefore the connector must be plugged in when driving...

ok thanks matt,i jut had the tranny rebuilt, and took it back the the shop, and told them about this problem, the mechanic said he could not find anything wrong with it...dont know...one thing it does is that when the tranny dont engage,i can just wiggle that connector a little bit, then the tranny will engage,i dont know what it could be.....
