194 bulbs

i have no idea if this is in the right section or not but i couldn't really figure out where to put it... but anyways how are the gauges (spedo, tach, etc.) illuminated... is it a couple 194's or what? got a little idea goin on in my head but need to know what kind of bulbs are used.. thanks!

just reworded my search and found my answer.... now i need to know something... does this194 come out of the plastic piece it is in? or is it one unit...

Yes it comes out, just pull it out of its housing

well i tried that but there is nothing inside the housing where the bulb goes to conect it to the the little copper feelers that provide it power via the circut board..

From the backside you twist the little plastic housing it's in to remove it. Once its out of the cluster pull the 194 bulb out of the twist-in socket and replace.

but the 194 is wired directly to the copper feelers that connect it to the circut board for power... i am currently replacing all of the bulbs with jamstraight LEDs and it wasn't as easy as i was hoping because of said problem above..
