Alright, i finished my car up got all the wiring correct, im going to post pictures tomorrow.

the delay has been because i rear ended a bitch who stopped at a yellow light. she was driving one of those aztec things that looks like a box. they can stop faster than a grand am. side note: the cop saw the entire accident and said he would have done the same thing, cus the lady sped up to run the red light right before she locked it down (she saw the cop), and he didnt even write me the ticket. so for you naysayers who want to tell me i cant drive, ill agree, but at least it wasnt all my fault :).

BUT THE MAIN TOPIC OF THE POST:
i worked a shit ton over the break and insurance paid the cost of repairs so i now have a great deal of money to spend on the car. I have decided on the sc/t kit.

Main Questions/Concerns:
1)I need a total price estimate, the kit costs 700 from PFYC, how much has everyone elses cost total after putting it on, painting it, and shipping? I got enough, i just want to make sure i dont unwisley spend it.
2)i saw that awesome guy who painted his white GA's sct kit with black accents to hide the bar and make it overall look better. I love that idea but my concern is my color scheme is white(color of my car) and red(interior paint, neons, and graphics). Can i paint the kit in the same fashion on the skirts and bars red and it still look decent? the skirts i think i would like, but id like to see a photoshop of the front bar, that is questionable.
3)any basic tips or things i should know about before i order, thoughts or comments?

Thanks guys, ill take some pictures of my baby tomorrow.

Shipping is going to be anywhere near $100-$150 to a residence. It will be cheaper if you ship it to a business though. And what bar were you talking about hiding? I paid around $900 for paint, which included SCT Hood,SCT Spoiler,SCT Kit. Just to give you an ideal. I put the kit on myself which saved me $300 for what the body shop was going to charge me

the bar in the middle that connects to the bottom of the regular grill, so it looked like one long lip, instead of a lip with a connecting middle bar. it looked sweet

I think i understand what you are talking about, but im not sure if that would look right. Since the top of it has the bar in the middle, it wont flow as good. Thats just my opinion of course. Plus the inside of it is most likely hollow and would require some body filler or something.

Dave C's grand am, it has a sc/t kit as you can see above, where he has painted black and made it look amazing, id like to paint it red to fit my current theme, i just wonder if red will have the same effect...

I honestly doubt red will look the same. The black just kinda fades away.

If you look at the rocker panels its got the black there too. I also think his rear part is black too.

Yeah red wont have the same effect that the black will take

i figured as much, id like to do something more than paint it white like the rest of the car. red would match the rest of my theme, but i dont think i can add it on their and have it flow well with the car...

Ehhh maybe. Red and white kinda look goofy together. Get someone to do a chop of it.

Are you talking about covering the orange reflector with red vinyl?
