Hi everybody,
My name's Matt. I live just north of Providence RI, but I am from Colorado. I have a 2004 silver GA SE1 V6. I am a mechanical engineer, but haven't really dug into cars much yet, so the experience in this site is pretty invaluable. I hope to eventually make some fuel efficiency/HP modifications to my car, but won't do anything crazy (or too expensive).

hello and welcome! may i suggest getting a cold air intake? that will increase gas mileage a little as well as a couple horses for under $200. (go with mpracing.org)

Yeah, from what I have read already, that seems like the best first mod to make. Maybe this spring I'll try for that one.

yes, not by much but it does, as it allows your engine to "breathe" better, and draws in colder air from the fenderwell, which in turn allows for higher gas mileage and better performance.
