Hey guys,
The grey button on my shifter knob broke and popped out a while back. I have been driving it with a rubber band around the button, but I am tired of it and would like to replace the knob. I would really like to not have to replace it with another piece of cheap plastic from GM, so I was hoping for an aftermarket one.

Does anyone know of a sharp looking shifter knob that will actually fit on the shaft? I can't seem to find one that fits since it has the retention clip attachment.

I have temporarily replaced it with a cheap cylindrical aluminum knob from Autozone, and I kind like the smaller sized cylindrical type shifter with the button on top (instead of the big bulbous stock part that looks like a piece of fruit).

Anyone know of one?

i have seen a couple decent ones, but the whole interior was done so it looked good. honestly your best bet it to stick with factory, because an aftermarket one with stock interior will just look tacky and out of place. you can head down to a junk yard and get it for dirt cheap, or even put it in your pocket.

I like that shifter. Know where to get it?

Do these aftermarket shifter knobs actually fit on with the retention clip, or are they set screw attachment, or something else?

I dunno if it would fit, but it would look good.

Anything aftermarket, Is more likly going to be a screw attachment.

Try looking at the newer Bonnevilles. There very nice and are interchangable

The button on my shifter broke as well. ENTIRELY my fault. Was banging on the shifter pretty hard keeping beet with the tunes that were on the radio. heh.

I'm just gonna put some glue in the grooves, and put the button back into place.
