Well im getting a 98 Grand Am GT. i was just wondering what you guys thought, and if you think its too much money.

I would recommend getting some private-party book values on it first...

Since it has a 3100, ask if the Lower Intake Manifold gasket has ever been replaced. If not, a leaky LIM may be in your future. I'd simply use that as bargaining power... it isn't necessarily a deal breaker.
