Hi, I am a 21 yr old married PFC in the Army stationed at Ft. Riley, KS. I have a 1997 Grand Am GT 3100 V6 Auto trans. It is my first car, so it is what I am learning about cars in general on. Since I got it for about $4k, I also want to make it a project car. Although I know little about tuning or cars in general I have been doing research on this forum and others so that when I registered here I would not sound like a complete numbskull.
Some planned mods:
CAI/RAI
overhaul exhaust (new cat, new resonator, Magnum Thrushs - I kinda want the old-school sound, 2 1/4 - 2 1/2" exhaust pipe)
tuned PCM
Eventually headers, new intake manifold, hi-quality trans and SC
