95 GT functional Ram Air hood......

yesterday i went to google, and typed in 95 Gran Am GT.....i clicked on the 'images' icon at the top...it brings up a pic of this yellow supercharged 95 GA GT. now, it appears to be a concept. Wheels,badges,even the hood....functional ram air.. I was wondering if that ever went beyond concept....or something similiar to it was made??? ive looked at plenty of hoods for my 95 GT, and i found only 2. FX Designs makes one...and its even ram air....but that boy is FUGLY!!!!! AndysAutoSport makes the other and i like that one, but im not putting an ugly,bulky body kit on my car-especially when pontiacs stock body kit for the GT is way better looking than any aftermarket kit, but that hood by AAS seems like it only would only look good on a body kitted car, i dont think it would "do work" on my stock kit. Any help, any feedback, anything on this would be helpful-thanx

Honestly im not sure I have never heard of this concept vehical but I don't know. First of all in 95 not a single quad 4 ho was made. This is for all the cars that recieved the engine not just the GA. Maybe they badged it that way because of the S/C. My guess is someone did some custom mods and put an old badge on.

concept all day... never became reality, "functional" ram air is a joke, but do a search on that and i'm sure you'll find posts of me arguing with those that think it does something :)

if you aren't into the fx or andys hoods, you could try to find a shallow scoop and mold it on, cut a hole in ure hood and make it functional

The hood was never reproduced afaik.

Anyways, it is possible to put a scoop on the stock 1995 hood... it just requires some bodyworking.

Under no circumstances should you ever put on a lund stick on scoop. ;).

wow I am loving that car. Of all the concepts discussed here I have yet to hear about this. I was just reading up on old posts about it and the car and hood was destroyed. I would say I wish someone would recreate it but most people aren't into the 92-95 GA's anymore

The last picture isn't the engine in the yellow car it came from a 94 concept with a 3.4dohc.

yeah it was the orange concept. The GT OH! as the magazine called it. I said in my original post that wasn't the picture of the engine from the yellow car I just thought I'd throw it in due to the whole ram air conversation.

O duh sorry for the correction joe. Both cars look great though too bad they didn't make any of the body panels.

^ yeah. it is a shame. I loved that orange one, I just hate the single outlet exhaust. Other wise that car is awesome.

Yea i was doing a lot of research on this earlier and couldn't understand that I think the GT duals look great. Honestly I am loving my 94 so much more then my 2000.

Wait till you see the red concept GTO drawing. I don't have any pics of it on my computer but I have the original magazine article it was in. I'll bring it with me this weekend. I think thats the best looking one out of them all.
