Hey all. Name's Gary, I've owned my '96 Sunfire GT for about 3 years now. Started out as a 'go to work' car, then went for a stereo at this little shop a friend recommended; Revtec Motorsports in Lorain, OH, next thing I know...it's on full race coilovers (yes, rides like a brick but outcorners porsches), has an intake, new 2.5 exhaust and high-flo cat and I'm racing SCCA with S/C'd and turbo-whatevers and running about middle of the pack, much to the surprise of everyone.

3 sets of tires and 7 wheel bearings and two CV shafts later...enough of that. Time to show. I'm getting ready to S/C it, paint and body work and interior redo; new wheels, Willwood big brakes, etc.

Got pointed in this direction for more info on hooking up that S/Cer...since I'm a mongoloid mechanic. Looks like a great group and great info, I've already learned a few things! ...and found out I bought shyt I wasn't going to need...argh.

Anyway, glad to be here, representing the people with IQ's over 150 in AL...which makes me a minority...by about 100 points.

See ya out there!

Welcome....I'm a former J-body owner myself.

had a 1999 Cavalier base model with a 2.4L z24 motor swap and some bolt ons.

:welcome:

While there aren't as many of us boosted owners here as the J-body sites, there are still a few with the GM charger.

Yes there are and many of them have sent me PMs or emails and have straightened me out on a lot of things. I've started classifieds strings on other boards for all the stuff I bought that I don't now need...oh well.

This is a great bunch of people with much, much knowledge. I just picked up another j-body...and am looking into a Grand something or other.

Boys and their toys...
