IIRC, the GA uses 880's which is one of the sizes that people sell for HID kits. So yes, you can get hids for your fogs.

They also put out the same tempature as stock halogen bulbs, so there is no problems of melting the stock foglight housings

Can you buy a clear lense to get a better output?

You look at your forlights and the plastic is all rippled in the middle and shit..its not just a plain clear lense..they usually never are and I always wondered why...I mean...If it was just a clear lense would it not make the output way brighter?

So if I were to put some HIDs on there...should I buy a clear lense aftermarket set....or buy another set of stockers?

(I dont have any fog lights right now due to an accident which ripped off the front of my bumper).

Is there any good kinds of foglights? Good brands?

Just use your stocks...the HIDs will be just as bright with or without that ripple in the center...why spend the extra cash?

The two most popular aftermarket foglights that you can buy for Grand Am's are

(1) Hella Optiux Angel Eyes
(2) Blazertech 2200's

Both can be found at pfyc.com

Thanks.

I have to get a new bumper and new fog lights anyways. My car introduced herself to the snowbank last week and the snowbank didnt take her introduction to kindly and broke her chin and gave her 2 black eyes.

(In english, I hit the snowbank and broke the front of my bumper off from foglight to foglight, breaking them both off and leaving me with no front to my bumper)

I have to operate on her and give her full face reconstructive surgery.

I was looking at the Hella Optiux Angel Eyes on PFYC.com...they looked pretty nice. Too bad the angel eyes arent blue, they are white but thats no biggie...They'll look better than stock anyways.

I'm gonna buy a cheap HID kit off ebay to slap in them, cuz I aint paying 300$ for a foglight HID kit like I did for my headlights. (Thats cheap in canada) EDIT***In no way am I calling Canada rich, just commenting on how everything is so damn expensive...300$ something like that up here is considered a good deal. And thats why someone invented EBAY.

Being in Canada is expensive due to import duties and taxes.

Hence why quite a number of people from the Toronto areas bus down to the local malls in my area: Cheap and tax free stuff!

Yeah dude.

When I'll buy something and I list the price I got it for on here, people tend to tell me I got ripped off when I thaught I got a sweet deal...until I checked out E-bay. I must have honestly spent about 5-6 hours just looking at shit for my car...exterior, interior...audio systems, computers, home entertainement...even vehicles....

Canada is pretty rediculous on prices...when the Canadian dollor was higher than the americans all Canadians were amazed...but even if our dollor is stronger...America still has way better prices. I remember signs would say "HONORING U.S. PRICES"...you might just have dropped the price a few dollors even cents...just matching the dollor value is in no way honoring the united states prices.
