Seems like a good way to get exposure for the site?

I think the "plug-in" would benefit them more than us. There's already a variety of image hosting available (and we allow hotlinking). Same with video... we have tags to embed youtube videos. I think we already have plenty of exposure and search rank.

My thought is that we already have one banner for our advertisers that actually DO support this forum. .. .. they just want the money from `EVERYONE` which doesn't make this site feel any more close to being just about cars.

AFAIK it just puts links to members Fquick garage under their avatar or on the member list, if you don't specify a Fquick username in your profile, there's no link. Then on your Fquick vehicle page it will add links back to forums that support your vehicle, which seems to me to be a good way to introduce the forums to any new car owners. (Fquick is similar to CarDomain, if you didn't know) Sorry if this came off sounding like spam but there's no ad banners involved.

All it does is provide a clickable link. We already provide this functionality... if you put your Fquick/cardomain/etc link as your home page URL (via UserCP) you can click on a user name to access their link. See attached screen shot.
We also provide vehicle year/model/engine/quarter mile ET viewable right there... no links necessary. You can also place your Fquick/cardomain/etc link in your signature.
There is also a vBulletin garage add-on available that doesn't rely on 3rd-party sites like Fquick. But... we're already reaching our hosting capacity now, so it wouldn't be wise to add that.
In other words, the plug-in adds no functionality that we don't already have, plus our forum members aren't stuck using only 1 car profile/social networking/photo gallery site.

Hey guys, this is Zach from FQuick.com. I found this thread and just wanted to drop in my 2 cents.
As you said, people already put their FQuick links in their sigs, so you are already allowing traffic "to us" but you aren't in our network of forums so you aren't getting any traffic back! We want to RETURN THE FAVOR! And we cant do this if you aren't in our network, obviously.
For those of you that think its of "no value" to your forum and "only fquick is benefiting" please checkout this pic...

So every member that uses the plug-in on this forum will have the forum banner on their garage page! Not to mention that on every Grand Am on our site, your forum link will show up (whether the owner of the vehicle is on this forum or not). This is great for Google SEO and Page Rank (research how important inbound natural links are to your site getting crawled more).
I hope you guys change your mind and see the value in this! As said, youre already sending us traffic, we just want to return the favor! And we cant do it without the plug-in.
