more pictures are uploading as we speak so there may be a few more later on...

basikly i was heading south in the far west lane at 40mph which is the speed limit. the guy in the 70's-80's pickup truck (no license or insurence) decides to make a left turn from the southbound lanes onto westbound street into of all places... my old job Lowes. well obviously neither of us made it where we wanted... spent 4 hours in the er... several cuts on my hands trying to crawl out of the car, some cuts around my eyes from the window flying thru the car, mirror landed on my lap (not in a good spot either :( ) and i know the grand am would not of done as well as this car took it... she looks bad, but the kids truck was crushed in about 2 feet all along the front.

At least you aren't hurt too badly. That's the key part. Also insurance will fix it without a penalty since it wasn't your fault so that's good.

Like I already said to you Brandon I'm really sorry that happened that really is terrible. But its great that you weren't injured more than that....I probably would have been dead if it would have happened to me in the RX-8....

Ouch! That's a mess. I'm very glad that you are alright. Will your insurance cover it since he doesn't have any?

thanks guys...

insurence is dealing with it, but full covereage and coverage incase something like this happens is on all my cars... the bmw dealer around here doesnt have their own repair shop other then mechanicle work, but the place they send their cars to is covered by my company so its looking good... the floor pan on the inside didnt looked disturbed to me at all, i know my feet had no problems getting out once i came to it last night... all i had were cuts and a pain in my you know whatter from the mirror landing on my lap... just sore now from going 40 plus what ever speed he hit me at to zero in a matter of like maybe 1-2 seconds.... not sure if i was out of it or not because i dont remember having my eyes open unless thats when i was looking for my cell phone when the other guy appeared at my door... so im not sure if its as bad as it looks or not... but i know if i get the news its totaled, another bmw is in the works, like ive said before the car is simply amazing, further evidence in my books atleast.

{chuckle} Its one thing to see a bunch of users go at it and be angry with each other because of a comment... But when the admins go at it... Well... Thats a bowl of popcorn if I do say so myself. heh

Its funny that you would think any of the Admins or Moderators would do that. If any of us had a problem we would discuss it not post it for everyone to read and comment about....

Oh, I didn't think you'd argue it out in public. That'd just be a really really bad idea. I get the sense that all of you have your heads screwed on right, so I wouldn't doubt for a second it'd go to a private afair. But to be a digital fly on the wall, or a packet sniffer... {chuckle}

You see, back in the day I used to co-run like 5 different BBS's and was always huge on messaging. With the larger boards, I was privy to seeing a lot of the administration BS that goes on. I was tickled pink when I got to see the admins disturbed and take sides because of what someone said on a digital medium. :) Freak'n hilarious some times. But then again, most of the boards I was the oldest of the crew, so my views and priorities and what the boards really meant to me were quite different than the law-and-order some of those admins demanded.

Anyways, I'm done with the hijack. ;)

Yeah, theres usually a private admin forum thats invisible to non Moderator/Admin usergroups. ;)

Anyways, back to the Bimmer... the damage there sucks... Definately not a buff out job... :(
