View Full Version : Need to sell that Supercharger kit I just got, really pissed!

Well, some things aren't meant to be. Long story short, I just ****ed up my car pretty bad today. I slammed into my dad's old BMW at night. His car was parked on the side of the street and I must have had my mind in a different place. To begin with, it's never parked there and for some reason he parked it there. I ruined my back bumper, one taillight is broken, the muffler and tips are bent now, and the side of my dad's car is really scratched up and dented. So, I will need to have his car fixed up because he took off some insurance recently since he doesn't drive it much and it will not be covered. Doors need to be replaced and painted again. And I need to fix up my car. ****! I feel like I'm in a nightmare right now. I never was fond of the body kit anyway and I'm getting the RK sport kit now. I just invested the other money I had saved up and I will still need extra cash to fix everything up soon. I will not have the money and time anymore to deal with the supercharger and every other cost that will be involved.
So, it's the exact same kit I got from Impetuous. Here is the thread:
http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83868&highlight=vortech
I haven't touched any parts yet. Everything is just as it arrived. I purchased the kit for $2300, plus shipping $100, for a total of $2400. I know many others were interested so let me know. I'm still really pissed about this but I can't dwell on the past.

NO WAY! dude i'm sorry to hear that. but how did you wreck your back bumper? sorry i'm just confused cause you said you slammed into his BMW and i'm assuming you were just driving, but did you really just back into him really hard?

I was backing out the driveway at pretty decent speed, like I always do. His car was parked on the other side. I got out the driveway and started turning and I backed into the car pretty hard. The car is black so that doesn't help and it was very hard to see at night even if I knew it was there. I still can't believe this happened. Still feels like it didn't happen. My dad is completely avoiding me now because he is too upset to even talk to me. I got mad at him and told him why the hell did you park there at night. And it came at the worst time because I just started school again and I need to purchase a ton of books. The worst part is I need to part with the supercharger :(

Problem is I took off almost all insurance. I'm a risk taker and I took a chance by not being fully covered. I've never damaged a car this bad and now I will have to learn my lesson. And I still need to get his car fixed up which is the biggest concern.
So as of now, the kit is still for sale unless my father magically decides to pay for his car to get fixed up. And if it wasn't for college books I'd still have a little extra.
And you wouldn't know, but I had an aftermarket kit on the car and I had Flowmaster 80 installed.

My dad's car is officially in the shop already. I put on my old bumper for now and it looks horrible. The tips stick out way to much and are still bent. I will need a new body kit and I love the RK sport kit. So the supercharger is still for sale. I don't want to put any more money into my car besides the things I need to fix up. Bad shit happens too much.
I know there was tons of interest so let me know. Same exact kit in this thread I purchased:
http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83868&highlight=vortech
Besides, I'm thinking about getting a 2008 Civic SI in the summer or fall. Tired of putting too much money in a car that already has almost 70,000 miles on it.

Will people check their private messages please. It's very rude. Everyone who contacted me, I responded several times and now you guys aren't answering.
Dragon31705, what's the deal? You send me a message and now you haven't responded to three of mine. Please check your private messages and make sure under your user cp you allow any user to send you private messages.

If you are having trouble selling it here try selling it at GAGT.com or 60*v6.com. You would probably get more nibbles at those two places because from what Ive seen most of the superchargers sell over there.
PS What would you want for the stage 2 stuff?

I'd rather sell the kit as a whole but I'll let you know if anything changes otherwise.

Another thought is that if you create pressure on the deadbeats they will back out right off the bat when you tell everyone that there are no 'dibs'. All dibs do is allow anyone who is interested to 'wait till i hear back from so and so' and potentially walk away. Just tell everyone that the first person to pay will get it so you dont have to keep chasing people around.
It works very well, trust me.

Yeah true. I'm just still upset with everything that happened and I really don't want to sell but have no choice. I registered on grandamgt.com but it has been 5 days and I'm still in the waiting queue.
Anyway, I'm doing as you suggested. I don't want to hold on this much longer because every day that passes I get more upset I have to sell. Anyone can make an offer now and I'll take the first one that I think is reasonable enough. Fair and simple I think:)

It's so tempting... If this was maybe a month or two later, I might actually go for it. I just can't afford it right now. It's a great deal though.
