Ok, I try to hook my amp all up, but im only getting sound out of my right front speaker. I try the fade controls and it fades to left, but no sound. I even hook up my left speaker directly to my HU and i get no sound. I have the relocation harness, is there something Im doing wrong because I know that the harness uses the left speaker for the chimes and stuff, but does it somehow stop you from getting sound out of the left speaker? Thanks.

In order to help we need more info... What exactly are you hooking up, and how? Aftrermarket HU, amp, speakers, etc?

left speaker in front or back? Amping the speaker or subs? Like pei said, aftermarket HU or factory? Did you pull out the HU when hooking up the amp?
The more info the better

HU - Panasonic CQ-DF801U
Speakers - Clarion 4x6
Amp - Alpine F450 5 Channel.
5th channel of course is my sub. That works.
Im bridging the other 4 channels for just my front speakers. The right one works just fine.
The only thing is, it's kinda funny how I have to put it all together, unless you guys gimme a better idea.
My HU only has one Front RCA output. Since i need it for 4 channels, I used to RCA Y-Adapters and hooked them up like that. Is there a better way of doing this? I did this in my last car and everything worked fine. I don't know why it doesn't work. I can't even get sound when I hook up the speaker directly to the HU. Im stumped. I've had so many problems trying to get this stupid sound system working in this car. Anyways, Any suggestions?

Try a different speaker, and are you sure that's an 801, 'cause the 801 has front/rear and sub outputs.
