Nissan's in-house tuning arm, Nismo, is looking to expand its reach both in its home market and abroad, beginning with an S-Tune package for, of all things, the Tiida.

Beyond the Tiida (Versa here in the States), Nissan plans to offer Nismo parts and professional tuning at every one of its dealerships in Japan, with plans to expand the network across the globe. That could mean that you'll be able to hit up your local Nissan dealer for a Nismo exhaust and intake, have it installed while you're there and possibly get an ECU reflash to make better use of the parts. It's the wave of the future and you can't deny getting factory-approved and installed parts that would provide piece of mind while keeping your warranty intact.

IIRC you can already get Nismo parts at the dealer and have them installed.

Many people on the Nissan forums are pretty pathetic so I know that atleast there dealers have already installed parts for them.

BTW. Nismo Altima FTW. *May not be work safe

^Yea... some Nismo parts are already available at dealers here. But you'll pay 3x what you would for an equivalent part from another aftermarket brand and install it yourself. The Nismo headers for the QR25DE are actually made by Hotshot anyway, yet are almost twice as much for the part than if you purchased it from Hotshot. :gay2:

I see some Nismo fan-boys on some of the Sentra forums that have spent 2-4K on Nismo parts and had the dealer install. That's a lot of money for some basic bolt-ons getting them into the high 14's. Dan (local former GA owner) spent only about $700-800 for intake/header/exhaust and got just as good results.

Hmmm I could have sworn I replied to this thread about Nissan Dealers already selling Nismo stuff and that they install it too because the morons on the Nissan forums hardly do any work on their own cars, they even have the dealer change their windshield wipers.

BTW, Nismo Altima FTW
