what size filter???

hey a few years ago i purchased a genuine K&N cold ait intake system. i cleaned it a few times, but i wasnt good at it.

point is, i want to purchase a brand new filter, without taking my bumper off to measure the hole, does anyone know what size inlet to look for? thanks

Im confused, why would you need to remove the bumper? why would you need to measure the hole?

I would do 1 of 3 things.
Take off the filter, measure it, order that size and hope for the best.
Take off the filter, take it to a shop that sells K&N cone filters and ask them for that size.
Ask the company you bought it from what size they use.

I would go with option #3

more than likely, its a 3 inch diameter. this is the filter i have on my car...

You should be able to remove the front of the wheel well liner and get to it through there.

yeah, where it is aimed, its hard to get to with just pulling the wheelwell back. when i remove the bumper again i will re-aim it (the screw i mean lol)

How about measuring the diameter of the pipe near the throttle body? :bigok:
It should be the same size at both ends.....
