Riced out to.... eh... plain yuppie mobile? J/k... but it is just another BMW... I don't think it can compete with the uniqueness of your GA.

True but I'm catchin' up and gettin' old like you ****ers. Don't need anything flashy.

Besides...it's looking like a buyer is in PA. So maybe you EC'ers will get to see it afterall.

I always liked the look of BMWs.
However after working in the repair bussiness I do hope you have a warrenty on it or atleast a decent savings account. Good luck with it.

A word of advice with Bimmers: Change the oil often. There are a number of BMW's disabled from engine sludge by follwing BMW's service schedule.

5-series pre-bangle? You know what you must do now, right? Slam it, 19in chrome wheels with 0 offset, and some mad negative camber.

DO EET!

Sometime this week hopefully. Picked it up Wednesday night then went on vaca.

lol That's what everyones been saying. If I was worried about speed I wouldn't have picked the 5. The deal was just too good on this and it's so nice inside.

You act like everyone who gets a sedan has kids (or is expecting)

Its more practical than a coupe. Makes piling all your friends in the car alot easier. My friends hate to sit in the back of the G5 (They didn't mind in the GA), so theres usually near fistfights over shotgun. :P

I prefer sedans typically. Some cars just look bad as 2 doors.

SikMindz

Nah. I'm always hauling people around so 2 doors is a no no.

Installed my old Basslink and it sounds 100x better in the 5. Can't wait to get the iPod fully integrated.

lol

Debadged, removed the intake silencer in the airbox, popped out the factory sub port holes and discovered Sport and Kickdown mode on the car today.

I'm loving this thing! There's a special place in my heart for the GA but damn...there's a reason Bimmers are the ultimate driving machines!

how many breakdowns have you had so far? i saw a brand new 328i on the freeway yesterday. had some part on the ground under the motor area and fluid everywhere. jackass was blocking up the freeway.

haha i hope it treats you well. any ice mods planned (diamond studded wheels)?

None. Car has a clean title and running great with no issues. Doin' above the speed limit is no prob with this car and the handling isn't any less responsive than it is at lower speeds. The feel of this car is just unbelievable!

Plan on getting an M5 front later this month, fully integrated iPod setup and that's it. Rims down the line but rims for this car are insanely exspensive!

Keepin' it clean for crusin' this time. The aftermarket in terms of engine mods for the 2.5 is limited and the 530, 540 and M5 have the majority of it. Not too worried though- it's geared great so I haven't felt the need to really push it. I miss the torque on the GA and the weight of it but it's a great trade off driving the 5 now. ;)

Have you sold the GA yet?

Nope...:(

Trying to and entertaining offers but no one has been serious yet really.

Damn..pulled the trigger on Monday and ordered the new front. Unfortunately they're backordered till around the 24th. Should only take a week to get it painted and installed though once I receive it.

Next up for the exterior are rims- and boy are they expensive for this car!

For a decent setup in 19-20s were looking at a couple grand. Easily 250-500 per rim at stuff I've been looking at.

Tell me about it. And ya know I can't just leave shit plain...so I have custom powdercoating jobs I'm thinking about on top of the rims. lol
