ok, forget about GA's for a lil bit, but would a SC from lets say an 01 GTP fit an o4 grand prix GT? if so i have a friend that will give me theirs when they get rid of their car, and thats if i do trade my car in. thx

I believe its a different supercharger on the 7th gen GP but its basically the same engine though might have better luck asking on clubgp.com

And aside from that... you can't just toss the blower on a NA engine and expect things to work. Need more fuel, less timing, etc. The L67 is low compression too.

There are substantial differences between the supercharged and non-supercharged 3800's to begin with. The Series II uses a different super than the SIII. Probably won't work from one to the other. Besides, who buys GTP's without a supercharger? You'd be better served by increasing the compression in the older GTP with a different pulley. My friend has a 03 GP GTP and increased his to a ~280HP with a pulley that increased the boost.

 Yeah! Saw "compression" when I was typing boost and typed it instead.
My friend's GTP rips now. He's happy.

x2... add boost, some headers, a S&B intake (KN with better filtration, or go with a volant powercore which is made by donaldson filtration) and a SLP exhaust with the 'u' pipe eliminator (the 02 sensor goes into it and is a restriction). It should be good for over 300 at the crank then.
To put a supercharger on a N/A 3800 you need to do a top swap. Lots of info of this on GP forums, but it involves basically changing over everything from the heads up and adding the S/C pulleys to run it.
Why? Because the L36/26 have fuel injectors situated in the intake manifold. On the L67/L32 they're in the heads. It's about a $1k job in parts/gaskets alone if you get them from a junkyard and do the labor yourself. Also, you can get around the higher compression issue by running a larger pulley on the supercharger. On my forum, I can think of at least 3 guys that have done this swap.
