Black TYC question.

I was just wondering if the black TYC lights off of ebay come with new adjusters as well? I'm hoping they do cause thats a reason I want them. my one adjusted is broken and my headlights are starting to get ugly.

Any help would be perfect.

Yes they come with they own adjustors, but many people advise you to use your factory adjustors ;)

Use as many of the old adjusters as possible, along with the original weatherstripping around the headlight.

I was wondering this myself. Does the headlights come with the rubber piece around it? Or do you have to re-use the old ones?

It comes with its own gasket, But again i suggest using the factory one!

The black TYCs are a much higher quality than the previous autodynasty ones were, just make sure your really getting the TYC ones. all 3 aimers are adjustable, and are just as good as the factory ones.

I would guess the only thing you can do is to not assume they are, and make sure the seller says they are. When you get them they will come in a TYC box, and they say TYC on the lenses

My TYC's are black behind the clear reflector. My brother has a set of blacked out lights, and its chrome behind the clear reflector. SO the TYC's are black behind the reflectors.

TYC may be the only ones that are made anymore, I dont know. Its hard to tell by the pics on the ebay listings....

Item number: 200201334668 looks black behind the reflector to me.

No proble, thats why we are all here.

Again, I cant confirm that the ebay item i sent you is tyc, im not sure if any of them are. And who knows if the sellers use the right pics? But if they say in teh description that they are TYC, then they probably are.

Heck, i thought the seller was making it up when i got mine last spring, but they werent.... I guess I was one of the first to get a set and realize they were making tyc lights. But believe me, you want them over the other brand/s, and thats if the other ones still exist....

Not to turn this thread in a different direction but is the black still as reflective as the chrome? Ive been tossing around the idea of getting a set of the black headlights but wasnt sure if their reflective ability was any less than a stock headlight. Those of you that own them did you notice a difference?

I answered this in another thread the other day, but the short answer is no. I dont care what people say, the light output is the same, there is still the chrome behind the bulb reflecting the light forward, theres just not chrome to bounce it throught the entire housing.
