View Full Version : '01 Chrysler Sebring LXi
Got a new Car few months ago, thought some of you might want to see. :D
Only thing I've done is put an AEM CAI in it. I have the Eibach Sportline Springs, and KYB Shocks, and Struts sitting in my room, they should be installed on Saturday, I will try to post pics after. Here are the pics
Edit: 5-spd, 3.0l ~210hp, 210 tq

You're missing the plastic cover in the front air dam. Engine pics, I wanna see how the CAI looks!
When I bought the car, it didn't have the cover there, but it works out because the Filter for the CAI sits RIGHT behind that hole. I will get some pics when I get home.

Nice. :) I bet the 5-speed is fun. I didn't know they made 5-speed Sebrings. I figured that was a Stratus-only option.

yea I had a 99 stratus before the GA, was the 2.4l dohc tho, 2.5l v6 made by mitsubishi though would have been sick
3.0l with a stick would prob be nice tho
alas I came to dispise dodge, had an 87 fifth ave years ago too, I dont know, they seem to shaft you in places I dont like to be shafted, like my front end was shot, bobbed around corners like you wouldnt believe, I was pleading with the gods when I drove into the dealership where I bought my GA for the final stop that I wouldnt land on the engine coming into the shop
the piece it needed to get fixed, you had to buy a whole new control arm, 500-700 from the dealer w/e for the part, one good reason I wanted to ditch it
another thing lol, windshield wiper arm came off the joint in the winter, pissed me off, removed the front cover, popped it back in with some pliars, go to ask about replacing the little plastic clip, couldnt even buy just the one arm, had to buy the whole thing, with a motor, for like 300bux
anyway lol hope yours goes ok
peace

My father has a 02 convertible with a 5-speed. Neither one of us were really impressed yes its a stick but when you shift it feels like an automatic shifting.
I will try to tape a camera to my Steering wheel, and do 20-90mph, it's pretty quick.
