To me anyway. An '06 Jeep Wrangler X. 4.0 liter, 6 Speed std, soft top.
I plan to upgrade the suspension and tires soon. I'm going with a mild 2" suspension lift and 31" tires. Quick disconnect sway bar links for articulation. I have not had it out 4 wheeling yet except for when I test drove it at the dealer ship. I found a 9 ft high snow bank in a parking lot and popped it into 4weedee, got almost to the top. I brought it back to the dealer with the rims and underside packed with snow. Tossed them the keys and said "I'll take it" :D
As you can see it is yellow. Color doesn't matter much to me whereas I can repaint it (I have the technology) but I kinda like it and think I'll accent it with some black. It has 15,300K miles on the clock.

Jeep wranglers are a lot of fun to drive, but once you lift that thing and put bigger tires on say goodbye to already subpar gas mileage...my buddy had one lifted with 33s I think he got about 11-12mpg in the city lol

^^ What he said. I have a bunch of friends with TJ's, and lifting and adding bigger tires = bad mpg big time. Not to mention, I'd leave it stock if it's going to be a daily driver.

Bah, to hell with mileage. Won't be much difference with 31" tires over the stock 29" (approx). And a 2" lift is very mild. Enjoy it, Dace! I've been getting the off-road itch again lately too, and a Jeep like that would satisfy it nicely.

I might be biased (DD is yellow) but I think it looks good in yellow.

Even without the lift + large tires they are bad. My friend just got rid of his (05? same 4.0 / 6-speed Man.) cause it was getting 12-13 MPG highway, bone stock.

nice jeep. I had an 88 wrangler with the 4.2L an 5 speed. the best vehicle you will own. who cares about gas mileage.
i also had 31" tires...it gives it a nice meaty look without going too crazy.

Compared to my full size Blazer I had (4" lift, 33" BFG's), 12 MPG is good. :D I'm not into miliage anyway and that wasn't even a thought when I bought it.

I'm really diggin it. I'll post more pics of it in action soon. Right now I'm perusing all my old quadratech parts catalogs much to the chagrin of my wife.
"what could you possibly need" she says. I just smiled. :D

Get some black rims and some big a$$ tires. Mileage is gonna suck though, every Jeep does. Last year for the 4.0L exellent choice. ;)
