new HU installed! + extra lol

hey guys

my alpine cda-9886 finally arrived, installed it soon after, took my old HU out in about 3min, glad nobody else tried to lol (didnt properly fit my otherone, little loose), the wiring harness was the same, realizing that about to cut the old wires, tried plugging it to the new one, bam worked, awesome saved some time lol

yea my other deck stuck out a bit, which was the issue with installing it good in the first place (knew I was getting a new one soon tho), I had to screw all three screws in a little first and work them in gradually in a sequence so it would fit flush, its from the RCA wires etc squishing between the HU and the back of the dash (not much room)

trying to figure where im going to mount both of them, conceiving an amp rack

really am liking this HU, I think its great, lots of options, no idea where to buy the pxa-h100 thats required for the additional settings, eq etc

Once of the reasons I havn't upgraded my 9855 is because they keep losing the good technologies like that was built in before and had amplink and glidetouch.

Cool. I noticed that the dual post mirrors aren't painted, but it actually looks good that way! I almost left mine too, but the right side had some kind of chemical stain on it, so I painted them.
