No those rims are not staying on there, they just came with the car, and the car isnt completely done yet. It still needs wetsanded which is happening today and buffing (tomorrow) then interior pieces get painted and the car gets put back together. So I should have it friday, Im hoping.

Yep, all the door jamps, under hood, under trunk. Under the hood he did as much as he could, the stock color was silver which is one of the reasons I used silver in my paint scheme so I could get away with silver under the hood.

Yea I plan on some type of 5 spoke chrome wheel. It is just temporary cuz I also love the look of the wheels on that car. I literally bought the wheels and then a week later this car popped up for sale and I really wanted it. Had I known I was gonna buy that car before the wheels I would have waited and chosen a rim for this car. As for price Ill send you a PM jeff.

awesome man, VERY good work on the shaving too, i love it shaved. i like your black/satin rims on your black car also. my only tip would be airbag it, drop it to the ground and have some nice chrome rims, maybe something with a center piece that can be painted blue or orange to match your theme.

the best news to me is how good the RKsport sides look with the aed front. to be honest im glad you did that instead of the aed sides. they kinda stick out too much and make rims look funny, thats what they did on mine. because eventually i am gonna get another aed front, but i wanna go with RK sport sides cause i like them better. glad it turned out like that, and im also glad other people do the work first, so i can see what it will look like haha :):)

Yea Im staying spoilerless, if I put a spoiler on the car I would have kept the hood scoops on it, but I figured no spoiler and no scoops the car would look really smooth.

As for tails its either keep the chrome, put my black tyc's, or I just got some Gt tails that I plan on clearing. But Im kinda planning on doing my own set of LED tails with those, so Im not sure yet.

I still would like to get a hood, getting a hood painted later isnt a problem so its something I dont need right away. Id like to get a sd hood for it. The wheels from you black GT look sweet on this one.. I'd leave it this way for as long as possible. You've got a DD and a weekend toy.. treat it right!

Thanks man, Ill try and get some pics here soon, and some details about it, I can't remember what exactly he used for the gas fill. Part wise the only thing you need is whatever tubing he used to reroute the filler, other than that just the metal to shave it. Price wise, Im not sure Im sponsorred by the guy who painted it so I got a crazy price and he didnt break down his charges he just told me a number when I told him what I wanted done.

Thanks man, yea this is way better than what I was coming up with. When I gave him my car we were talking about what I wanted to do and he had a few drawings made up already and once I seen it I was like I want that. So all I had to do was pick the colors.

Thats actually my exact plan. Great minds think alike. I have no intentions of buying new rims for the black car, just the show car. But rims will be a ways down the list. Still gotta do LIM gaskets in both cars, brakes on the show car, and buy subs and a 4 channel amp.

ill tell you what, when it comes time to buy the chrome rims for the showcar, try your local craigslist.com. thats where i got most of my wheels lol. its crazy how good of deals you find, you can get a set of nice rims with very good tires for waaaaay less then new prices. they might have a small blemish here and there, but if it aint noticeable then go for it. i know a set of 20s from Dub wheels that has a removeable center for $800 someone is selling with 245/35/20 tires. in philly though but its an example.

Maybe, maybe not. Allen didn't do the fenders, and the original owner hasn't posted since he sold the car, so we may not know for a while. I'm gonna practice doing the same style of vent with some junk fenders that my dad has sitting around, we'll see how bad it is.

hey do you plan on changing that rubber hose on the gas tank setup? i don't know if thats what it is but that what it looks like don't get me wrong here the car is badass but if you do shows are'nt you gonna do some audio stuff in the trunk it should'nt be too hard to custom make a gas spout out of metal 4 that none the less its an awesome idea i'm just a lazy ass and i would get sick and tired of poppin the trunk to fill up, i was actually thinkin of mounting like a hummer cap setup on mine do you know of any where that sells that type of setup for a ga?

If I know what you are talking about the hummer set up then I have no idea as there isnt much for out gas door set up without going custom or just some vinyl overlays.

I do plan on keeping my gas set up that way. Only thing Ill change up is the piece around the cap to something nicer looking.

Ive only had the car since october, and Its only been in my possession for like a month since its been painted and everything, so I havent had much time to do anything except what you see. But I showed it in one of the biggest shows in Indiana and I took home two trophies so I think it's doing good so far.

i like the chrome better than the smoked. but i think a set of stock tails or the new clear LED or red LED tails would look better. i hate smoked lenses, no secret. i mean your car has fresh paint all shiney and metalic flake it. why darken the light????? i think it contradics(sp) itself. maybe, just maybe the black TYCs. well if it didnt cost an arm, a leg and a testicle, the AEDs painted to match would be sweet as well.

the car's paint is too bright for having tinted tails on it. You should stick with lighter and/or brighter tails to help the whole scheme match

no, forget it, keep the stock hood like that. it is clean and SMOOTH like the rest of the car. no interuptions in it. IMHO

And as for your car, I love it. That's prob the most original paint i've ever seen on a GA. I do agree that the Black Tails make your rear end really... blah. Definately paint the TYC's to match the car, that way you have some contrast to it. of course, I cant talk cause compared to yours my GA looks like balls. One other thing, i love the shaved door handles. Had them on my s-10 and had door poppers. Not too many people think of doing that, and it's not even that expensive. Great choice man.

to get the color of the blue take it to a auto paint supplier by you. ask them to scan the color. they have this little thing where they put it on a couple different parts of that color like the hood,door, & deck lid and it takes pics or something then they plug it into their paint mixing machine and it mixes the paint.

Yea, I havent officially put it up for sale yet. Im gonna switch over the suspension, system and maybe a few other things and get it in the condition I want to sell it in before I put it on the market.

I hate to get rid of it, but I figure I might as well sell it while its still worth something before it gets too many miles.

the sedan definitely won't be a DD in the winter. Right now the plan is to sell the black car and buy my parents car for a beater, but its not really a beater but would be a decent DD.

I was actually talking myself out of selling it today, but then I went to the dealership to buy a part and of course as soon as I stepped out of my car a salesmen was already walking up to me. So I jokingly said unless your going to give me 6000 for my car Im not even gonna look, so after I bought an o ring to fix my sedan the sales manager said hed give me 6000 for it, so I figured id entertain myself and see what they had, but nothing really interested me.
