a little steep for a car with that many miles. 3500 or so would be a good price. not trying to rag on you just trying to help out your sale.

Yea 3k or 3500 is a better price. I got my 2000 with 98k miles for 2500 and it was modded.

I think 4,500 - 5,000 a fair price

tried emailing you, but wouldnt deliver the email.

I would like some more info on the car as well as some pictures. Im located in Logansport, Indiana zip 46947. I visit Ft Wayne frequently, so traveling wouldnt be a problem. Please get me all inf on the car as well as pics. I also have a few questions.

how long have you owned the car
any significant problems whatsoever? transmission, motor, have any gaskets been replaced, etc
how old are the tires
what color is the interior

Jon Linn

email is jonathanwlinn@yahoo.com Sorry for the confusion. Interior is black leather in good to great condition. No engine problems and the car doesn't burn any oil. Replaced water pump in 2006 and had timing belt changed for good measure. 2 tires where bought last year (60,000k tires) and the other two have a year left on them. I have owned the car since 2005. I will take pictures tomorrow and post them tomorrow! PM me if you want my number. Any decent priced offer will be considered...

According to the NADA Appraisal Guild, the car is worth $5k...

Thats good for you, if so, then Im selling my 2 door since I have 40k miles less than you so my car should be worth 7k.

Good luck with the sale. To the right person itll be worth 5k.

you would be correct...that is just about what I paid for this one when I bought it in 2005

According to KBB, even this car in excellent condition on books for $4600 Private Party Value. It drops to $4,100 in good condition and $3,300 in fair. Selling it above the maximum price is probably iffy...

After much thought I have choosen to lower the price to $4,300 O.B.O. All offers will be looked at... pm me for pictures...

alright, well I noticed that the car has a few flaws, most used cars do. but, was wondering what happened to the wheel thats bent, and the drivers rear rain guard. also the drivers side fog light is gone. no offense, but it doesnt appear that the car has had an easy 135k miles put on it.

how firm are you on price?

Jon Linn
03-13-2008, 06:28 AM
Rain guard came off on our honeymoom to MA. Last month my wife got hit by a city snow plow and the city will not pay for the damage to the front end. The wheel was bent when I bought it. I would say overall the inside of the car is almost perfect but the outside could use a little work. I had planned on buying a front bumper on ebay and fix it myself. I am open to offers...pm me if you would like or call me...

Jon Linn

I just want to clarify. The damage is just the front bumper and fog light. There is no other damage. I can take better pictures. I have the fog light off because it is in working condition, but it doesn't connect now to the bumper. On ebay I can buy a bumper for $80.
Any offer will be looked at...

Does this car have a LIM leak? from that one pic it looks really wet.

DomestikDemon

Replaced water pump in 2006 and had timing belt changed for good measure.

I think what you mean is the SERPENTINE belt, seeing as how you changed the water pump and belt. The timing belt is something different. In fact, our cars have timing chains rather than timing belts, which should last the life of the engine(chains that is).

Jon Linn

Yes I was meaning SERPENTINE belt, but I posted timing belt. LIM Leak?

Jon Linn

No the car doesn't have a LIM leak.
