My car is in the shop, I took it to the dealer b/c of some mild shuddering and small power loss. Well my transmission is being rebuilt and my fuel pressure regulator is being replaced. Thank god for extended warrenties otherwise I'd be poor right now. I guess it isnt all bad they gave me a GPGT to drive untill my GA is fixed. :)

that is an awsome dealership. GPGT for a loaner for a GA. Having all these things fixed under warrenty is good too b/c they should last longer. I don't see a single thing wrong.

Damn...all I can get out of the dealer for a loaner car is plain-jane Malibus and an Impala once. I wish they would give me a GPGT!!

Think that's bad? I get frikking Cavaliers when I take my GA in.

It does have a good side though. It always makes me like the GA even more when I get it back :D

I've never had to take my car in and lord knows its not under warranty :D

My car went in .. and they gave be a 02 dodge neon.. that thing is a POS.. atleast you didn't get one of these things.. Thats all the insurance company will pay for.. grrr cheap-ez

Could be worse... when I had to bring my GA in for service, I got a Ford Focus for a loaner. It was a 2003, mind you, but ti was still the crappiest heap of junk I've ever driven. Totally unsteady on the road, creaks and squeaks like crazy, no power whatsoever and it was SO tiny. And if you look at the list prices for those things, they cost almost as much new as a Grand Am!

I guess the dealership knew what they were doing by loaning me that Ford, because I was so glad to get back into my Grand Am, and probably never will ever buy a Ford after driving that tin can. And the Focus did earn a nice pet name among my friends... the Ford F---Us. :)

Hah all of you I took my GA in about a month ago to get serviced and I got a Vette for the day. Sure it was the owners car, and I knew him but hell yeah that car rocks.
