Timeline of wheels and my car

Well everybody should know by now how many changes my car has seen, especially with wheels lol. so i decided to post a thread of pics explaining and showing what stages my car has gone through. and after this weekend i should have pics to add lol. Enjoy, and read the titles for info:

2003 Grand AM SE1 stock except for decals lol. chrome 16" Pontiac Chrometechs:

Almost stock but with a custom made Aed wing, and custom painted Aed LED tails.

Aed parts and SSC (sears special lol) 18" rims i got from Ebay, not sure on tire size. i was a rookie then lol.

After complete Aed kit, custom trunk with license plate, shaved rear bumper, chrome 20" TIS rims, TYC tails, custom headlights, etc.

Aed kit and all, with 18"x7" COncept Neeper rims, which were crappy and i resold within a week lol

Aed kit with 18"x8" Falken Koblenz satin and gunmetal rims with Nankang 225/40/18 tires. rims were beat up, so i resold them:

current condition with 17"x7" Exel gumnetal rims with 245/45/17 Hankook Ventus tires. not wide enough, so i am selling them:

and soon i shall have 17"x8" American Eagle polished rims with 245/45/17 Toyo tires, after this weekend hopefully.

when im done paying for my car November 2008, awwwww s**t i will start heavily remodding again. thanks guys for all your support.

Still looks very nice, once november comes I will bring over the power tools and we can start cutting some metal :)! And then call someone to fix it but thats ok haha

to bad you had to sell the AED kit but the car still looks good with the stock body. I love the color to. Cant wait to see how she starts to come together in November. Do you know what or if your putting any body kits on it?

spoiler was form Aedcentral.com. dont order anything new from there though. find used, its rare but its cheaper and less wait. they took 2 months on the tails and wing.

anyway, here are my plans for it later on down the road:

-Aed front bumper (maybe rear)
-Rksport sides and rear (maybe RK wing too)
-smoked LED tails
-black headlights (or maybe painted projectors)
-20" rims to acomodate bodykit
-shaved handles
-two tone leather seats
-cherry red and black two tone paint

these are rough ideas, but im not gonna build it for serious show, just a crazy custom car to cruise around and at shows. there are so many nutty things out there in the radical show scene which i cant compete with, or will take me $20K-$50K in upgrades to do lol.

but when i do it up crazy again, i do wanna go with chrome/color matched wheels, or black and satin wheels. there are many out there that will transform the ride. i just think with a aed kit you have to really be careful getting 18s, they have to be wide enough cause the kit makes the car look bigger.

You gotta keep the stock color in that two tone somewhere, maybe the dividing line, I love that color. BTW, your tails are still doin fine and are one of two non-chrome aftermarket tails in my school.

Those chrome 20s looked the best. Sad to see you are ditching your new wheels, because they are the 2nd best.

im not a big fan of the SCT front lip, it looks good on mnost cars on this site, but not my personal taste. but yeah, i like the color, and probably gonne stay with it. maybe just add black or something.

glad my tails are doin fine, i have the GT tails now.

oh and i will post pics soon, cause i have my new Eagle 077 17s mounted today, i will upload pics soon!!

Alex goes thru wheels like oil changes lol. Gotta keep those Eagles though, they're hard as hell to find.

oh yeah im keepin the Eagles for sure, im more than happy with them. they are 17s, and look like 18s. the MOST i like is how wide they stick out. perfect for me. i just need some springs, and body damage fixed then i will be golden. oh i also need a stock or SCT wing to fill the holes on my trunk.

then next year, i might transform again into a showcar. even THEN im keeping the Eagles lol
