Just get an alignment and have them check the bushings and crap.

Did you hit anything with the front end recently? Like a snow bank?

On a ten year old car I would suspect:
a) tire out of balance
b) worn tie rod ends
c) worn rack

Swap the tires from front to rear to see if it changes.

That reminds me, sometimes chunks of ice build up inside the rim and knock the balance off.

wheel bearings? Fairly common problem on FWD cars.

if your toe on your car isn't in or out just a little your tires will wiggle back and fourth, but rarely does that happen.

ok so i can hear a sort of bearing noies but the wheels are solid and dont really shake ill out it on the lift and try and check the bearings wensday and get back to you
