Well, just curious, for the extra $250 i can save getting the SLP exhaust, what am i missing out on?

Basically, whats the difference between the Borla exhaust and the SLP?

I second this question. I know The name I'm missing out on. But what's in a name...a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. :) Really though....can you justify the extra clams and how?

SLP is a LOT louder than Borla but doesn't have any performance advantage. I think they're both stainless steel but correct me if I'm wrong.

I have only had the SLP catback for 1 day ,but i love it. It IS loud.
my lady says thats what a mans car should sound like(sorry girls shes a sexist). in 3rd gear around 45 it sounds like a subwoofer.
then again i could hear every bit of road noise from my back seat area.
NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A FART CAN(on a v6)
I say get the slp if you want to scare old people and ricers

both are stainless but yes.. the SLP is much louder.. the SLP sounds like a big block V8 while the borla gives a deep low rumble like a small block V8.. personally i like the borla.. but only because i already have subs and my neighbors would kill me if i got that kind of exhaust

I would go for SLP. A lot of people are happy with it. Borla is too much $$$ and too close to stock sound.

I have a Borla, and am very happy with it. Borla makes a slightly louder than stock, but very mellow sound and its easy to install. I compared the Borla/SLP before I bought my exhaust and decided that I didn't want anything really loud, just some perfomance/sound quality improvement. Dont get me wrong, the SLP is stainless and a high quality product that sounds great, but I decided on the Borla for the more "subtle" sound. If a little more noise doesn't bother you, save a few $$ and get an SLP.
