View Full Version : Little brown spots everywhere

Yesterday I noticed that on my car I have these little what appear to be brown spots there not rust spots cuz they do come off, what the heck is this stuff, I wash and wax my car every week in summer and now the thing has spots wtf? Being I have a white car every little thing I notice and its a real pain.
Please help.

Get a claybar and use it and the spots will more then likely go away. My GA was white and was covered with them but a claybar treatment later they were gone.
The spots are probably just dirt that have been there forever.

my mom has those on her car. she gets them from the dirt roads around here. i git little black marks on my car and they dont come off. i haven't tried the clay bar but i will be

Well yesterday I clay bared my car and all the little brown spots came off great, car looks really good now, I never knew how much dirt was in the paint untill I did this.

Those little brown dots are usualy brake dust. Kinda orange/brown.
It shows on light colored car, but every car should have them too, it's only that we don't see them.

Brake dust, insect droppings, acid rain, tree sap, soot and grime from chimneys. It's hard to tell what it is. It's spots and shows up on a white car like dandruff on a dark blue suit.
I use "Soft Scrub" for spot cleaning. It's a fine polishing compound mixed with soap for household cleaning. Wax when you are done, it removes everything.
