... added a very small little modification ... basically, it is just a battery isolator but I think it looks great and what makes it even better is that it is a genuine GM part :) ... after connecting the battery back up, it started right up, worked well and sounded GREAT but I am looking forward to installing my new Magnaflo duals :) ... also have a set of front strut bearings to put on and a GT gauge cluster to install ... probably won't do much more this summer being how much the headers and what not cost me last year but if I could find a decent set of 18" rims and tires locally, I might be interested :evil2: ... maybe even a set of stock Chrometech torqued style rims would suffice but I would like something 'different'
BTW, the pictures were taken with my cell phone so please excuse the low quality :(

When I read that topic, I was expecting..
"Started the car today and..."
- Blew up my engine
- Smoke show while it was in park
- it decided to take a break and not start
- blue smoke out the rear...
None of this pretty cool paint job stuff. ;) Nice surprise compared to the other disaster stories due to weather, other idiots, etc.

Yep, it is cool ... also find a local guy with the equipment to reprogram the mileage for me so it matches my car :yippee:

HAHAHA ... yeah, this car has to be the HARDEST paint I have ever seen to take a picture of  ... as far as mileage goes, around 35,000 miles :)

You are right as they came standard on the S-series trucks :) ... which of course, I knew since I owned one and is where I got the part number from :)
BTW ... thanks everyone :)

Ok is it just me....
That looks to be an insulator, not an isolator.
Either way looks good!

Cool. I guess I meant to say you're stuck with OE-style batteries. But as long as you have a batt you're happy with that's all that matters! :)

True, OE-style for sure as you can't beat life time warranty
