Damn! There goes another original idea.... I just finished making one of those three weeks ago but mine is better, at least different. It has brake, reverse and pimp light functions.

that is a good find, im surprised they still keep makin stuff for our GAs. its a little pricey, but worth it for a clean match for aftermarket tails, and also plug and play no worries.

the smoked one will go good with the smoked LED tails i wanna get soon.

I just ordered my smoked led tails (along with other stuff, pics to come once the arrive) and i was gonna get this but too much $$$. So i bought silver alum. antenna and HVAC knobs(I busted one)

I have to install it for Albany first. Maybe in a couple of years when I come up with something better.

My original 48 bulb LED third brake light is going up on ebay soon.

The LED light was a ton of labor. I know that I spent at least eight hours soldering it all together. It has about 18 series parallel circuits. I couldn't put a price on it so I will put it up on ebay with no reserve and see what the market will bear. Here's a couple more shots.

The CCFL third brake light was the next in my progression of modifications. I saw another car model that had a clear lens. I knew that CCFL's came in different colors so I got a red, a white and a "Kelly" colored red lava type. I cut most of the center out of a brake light lens, leaving a small lip. I cut a piece of plastic a little larger than the hole and trimmed, filed and sanded until it fit into the opening.

I gutted a brake light housing and took some of the lamps apart to get the pieces to fit and be visible when in use.
